To whom it may concern
...inappropriate poems about the world...
(soon to come)
To those who don't care... |
The end is nay...
Wars, hunger, diseases, poverty, deaths... The world is at loss.
And those are my views.
To whom it may concern... |

A day like yesterday
(African Youth Day - 16th June)
June 17th 2005 - Montpellier, France
Before sunrise he opens his eyes. He gets up ready for the day, a day like yesterday.
He prepares some coffee over the dying fire, smokes a cigarette at the step of his hut.
The village is silent, there is no noise or light in the middle of the bushes, far away from everything.
He wears his uniform colour of the dry land so nobody will se him, feel his presence.
He drinks his coffee in silence, throws the cigarette away and puts his Kalashnikov accross the shoulder.
He leaves his hut, follows the path of sand and goes, wherever he is called to.
This day will be just like yesterday. But he doesn't think, doesn't question.
He does what he is told, what he is ordered, without regret or remorse.
Love, he never did, writing, he never learned, morality, he never had, future, he has none.
Does he have any chance to get out of the rebels' cause? To start a life out of new and live like all the other
kids his age? Re-find his lost innocence, smile, laugh and play like all the other 12 year old? *
